Over the last few weeks I have had a lovely time meeting some beautiful families. My mini sessions and family portrait sessions are available at the location of your choice or in a studio environment.

On Friday 7th September the sky opened and it did not stop raining all day but that could not dampen the spirits of Tina and Frank as they married for the second time at North Shields Register Office.  As Tina said to me “this is a re-marry and its going be right this time”

I love a good story and Tina and Frank are a great one!  Congratulations to you both and thank you to Paul Gulliford Photography for allowing me to assist you in capturing this very special day.

A year ago today Graham and Chrissy became husband and wife at Driffield Salvation Army followed by a reception at the Beverley Arms Hotel surrounded by their close family and friends.

A lovely day that really reflected this special couples love for each other. A year on I am dedicating this blog to a great couple as they return from their long overdue Honeymoon in France, may the memories of their wonderful day come flooding back.

Building my portfolio to add a little advertising and editorial photographs in the style of those seen in fashion magazines.

Newcastle College Fashion Students were in need of photographs for their “Look Book”. The brief was to produce contemporary Mid-Key sculptural lighting with a de-saturated finish embodying the photographic style of fashion photographers’ such as David Sims or Steven Meisel.

Both dresses had been designed at created by the Fashion Students Lisa and Nicola

Today I had the lovely task of capturing the Golden Wedding celebrations of Heather and Tony. A lovely afternoon tea, with sandwiches, scones and lots of delicous cakes in their beautiful garden at their family home in Morpeth. A relaxed atmoshere with laughter and happiness everywhere. Then on to The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth. to continue the celebrations with an evening meal.

Congratulations to Tony and Heather on your 50th Wedding Anniversary.

This morning it was dull and damp, but as we stepped aboard the River Escapes Fortuna today the sun and the smiles came out. I joined the volunteers and members of “Hand to Hand”.

Hand in Hand is a project of The Methodist Church (Newcastle Central and East Circuit) and was established in January 2000.

Through friendship and compassion they provide support to elderly people who are socially isolated and often living alone. Their aim is to see elderly people actively engaging in their community, being treated with dignity and respect, and no longer subject to loneliness and isolation. To achieve this they use a befriending service and weekly clubs and todays outing was a 3 hour boat cruise down the River Tyne from Newcastle Quayside to the Mouth of the Tyne in Tynemouth.

A lot of laughter and giggles ensured that all had a lovely day.

Last Thursday I had the lovely opportunity to meet Lily Mae and her big brother Harrison for an Newborn and Brother portrait photoshoot. Lily was so sleepy and an complete angel and Harrison was the very helpful and proud big brother.

On Tuesday I had the great opportunity to attend a training day with Brett Harkness. My aim was to increase my knowledge and to be more creative with flash, what i gained from the day was loads more than that.

A brilliant day with some fantastic photographer. Great people and great photography
